HIJAMA (CUPPING)

In fact all diseases/complaints begins with the failure to meet the blood, oxygen, water, minerals and other vital substances that a single cell needs and remove the waste materials(allergens, toxins) resulting from functioning of the cell. A number of signals are emitted from the body as a result of the errors that occur in metabolism (E.g. fever, excessive sweating, fetor oris, nausea, constant fatigue, bowel problems etc.) misguidance starts here.  We suppress these distress calls with pain killers, antifebriles, antiallergens etc. assuming them as illnesses. However, what needs to be done is to help the body through healing by activating its inner mechanisms. We believe the patient attains healing as a result of treating the body, emotions, mind/subconscious and soul as a whole. Cupping treatment has a very important role in this understanding.. In our clinic we aim to reach success as a result of many techniques moving along not only one form of treatment method.

Dr. Ceyhun NURİ

WHAT IS HIJAMA (CUPPING) ?

It is the discharge of lymph fluid and toxic elements containing arterio-venous blood structures from various parts of our body using assistive tools (mostly cup) and the stimulation of the nervous system in these areas.

It is the discharge of lymph fluid and toxic elements containing arterio-venous blood structures from various parts of our body using assistive tools (mostly cup) and the stimulation of the nervous system in these areas.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE FROM TAKING BLOOD THROUGH THE VEIN

The bloodletting method is applied on the venous (dark) system by large veins. On the other hand, cupping is the ejection of the non-blood shaped fluids, vein, artery and blood in lymph system by creating incisions on the skin surface. Cupping and venisection are two different things. It is not possible to keep the place of the cupping. It remains insufficient to assess cupping as only taking out the blood. An important difference of cupping from bloodletting is the stimulation of nerve endings in the skin surface in specific regions of patients. These specific regions with nerve endings are also stimulated as a treatment in acupuncture. In cupping, nerve endings are stimulated for therapeutic purposes apart from blood collection process. Some acupuncture spots would be stimulated by this way.

In human physiology harmful waste we produce and you get outside human is laid out in five ways. These are liver, lungs, kidneys, and spleen and skin organs. In the liver which is the most important among, harmful waste is rendered harmless with the detoxification process. This can be inadequate because of distancing the nature in eating habits and liver steatosis. Toxic elements are tried to be discharged also through the sweat glands in the skin. That is why the smell of human sweat differs by nation and states. These harmful substances in the skin and capillary structure under the skin that cannot be excreted, can cause circulatory disorders and sometimes activate the inflammations. This can sometimes cause non-diagnostic complaints and disease such as ‘Autoimmune Diseases’, ‘Fever of unknown origin’, ‘rheumatoid arthritis’. The blood taken by cupping includes free radicals and the waste materials -which sweat glands fail to excrete- activating the systems causing diseases. Cupping is the process of discharge the toxic (harmful substances) material that is accumulated in our body and stored under skin at regular intervals.
